Story about my first Birman cat

I have begun my research in January 2005, I was looking for a Birman cat with pedigree, and I have found this cute girl in July. I have had the choice between 2 different girls from different breeders, but I was so excited to have my own Birman cat that I have chosen the first one available. And she was born the same date as me, it was a sign for me. We have met her, and she was come to us naturally, and we already loved her at this moment.

Sometimes, I have regretted to have chosen so fast, especially when I began shows and when I saw nicer Birman cats. That's why this is really important to see other cats before choosing one, the best moment is during shows, you can see many cats and meet interesting breeders and so have advices.

But regrets have been very short, because she was become a part of our life and our family. Our relationship is exceptional, especially when I watch her and when she watches me in return. 

She is Seal Point (black points), basis color from the Birman cat. She is a real dream cat : always in the feet, devoted, cute, laughing, she walks with a strange allure, like a dancer or a model. And when she has decided something, she does it. During shows, or travel, or when she meet other cats, she is never anxious.

She has little things only at her, like running behind us in the house, playing hide and seek, catching a fictive mouse we have threw. We can't imagin our life wouthout her.

I am sometimes jealous, because she prefers her master, but she only eats tenderly me fingers and no other ones.

I confirm, Birman cat is a very special and incredible companion, so cute and beautiful, a sacred cat ...
